Corner Project

Crude Plant Debottleneck Project

The purpose of this study was to develop a preliminary cost estimate to debottleneck the existing Husky crude unit from 63,000 BPSD to 80,000 BPSD by adding a vacuum tower.@ The aim was to increase the total feed to the unit while maintaining the same feed rate to H-Oil hydroprocessing units from the bottom of the vacuum tower.

Degassing Upgrade Project

Bantrel was awarded several scoping studies including an autoclave vacuum degassing, start up vacuum pump upgrade, reflux condenser replacement, and PVC resin pneumatic transfer upgrade to increase PVC production rate by increasing PVC resin transfer rates and reducing autoclave degassing period.@ The objective of the studies was to determine the modifications required to increase operating efficiencies with minimum investment.

Elko Compressor Station Project
