This project was successfully completed and started up in November 1997. It involved designing the installation of a gas turbine/compressor unit for ANG’s Elko pipeline compressor station. The design featured a GE LM1600 gas turbine rated at 19000 HP, equipped with DLE combustion system and a Nuovo Pignone single stage overhung pipeline compressor.
Bantrel’s scope of work was to complete engineering design, construction plan development and preparation of multiple construction work packages. Responsibilities included station utility studies and upgrades; compressor and control building design; material requisition preparation, and vendor drawing review.
