Bantrel and Bechtel provided project management, procurement management, construction management, and HSE advisory services through the commissioning and close-out of the ATCO Hanna Reion Transmission Development Project.

Bantrel Management Services Co. (BMSC), in partnership with Bechtel, provided construction management services to the Hanna Region Transmission Development (HRTD), owned by Canadian electric transmission and distribution utility ATCO Electric.

  • Expand and upgrade ATCO Electric’s electrical transmission system and infrastructure in Alberta including:
  • Stringing 353 kilometers of 240 kilovolt (kV) and 144 kV transmission lines;
  • Construction of more than 1,200 new transmission towers;
  • Six new substations; and
  • Upgrading of twelve substations
  • The project to expand and upgrade ATCO Electric’s electrical transmission system and infrastructure in Alberta included stringing 353 kilometers of 240 kilovolt (kV) and 144 kV transmission lines, constructing more than 1,200 new transmission towers, and building six new substations and upgrading twelve substations. Bantrel and Bechtel provided project management, procurement management, construction management, and Health Safety & Environment (HSE) advisory services through the commissioning and close-out of the project.
