Bantrel is supporting Bechtel in completing FEED deliverables for a new Carbon Capture and Compression (CCC) facility for a large multi-national energy company.
- When built, this is anticipated to be the largest facility of its kind in the world.
- Bantrel is providing mechanical, electrical and procurement support to Bechtel.
- The CCC facility will be designed to capture at least 85% of the CO2 from the flue gas before it can become a greenhouse gas contributor.
- The captured CO2 will be conditioned then compressed until it becomes a liquid. The liquid CO2 will be compressed for injection into depleted gas fields in the local continental shelf.
