Bantrel employees are participating in a corporate effort to help the
people of Haiti recover from its devastating earthquake.
Bechtel, which is Bantrel's majority shareholder, is launching a special
campaign to match employee donations. The Bechtel Group Foundation is
kickstarting the campaign with an immediate $100,000 US gift to the Red
Cross to support its on-the-ground relief efforts in the stricken country.
Bantrel employees in offices across Canada are contributing to a number
of recognized charities with Haiti earthquake funds:
- Canadian Red Cross
- World Vision Canada
- Oxfam Canada
- Unicef Canada
- Save the Children
The Bechtel Group Foundation’s matching funds will be directed to the
International Response Fund of the American Red Cross.
