Bantrel Manager of Projects Andrew Hart has earned a prestigious honour from the Chemical Institute of Canada.

Andrew was nominated by his peers for a 2009 Chemical Institute of Canada Fellowship. Fellowships are awarded to individuals who make outstanding contributions to the profession of chemistry, chemical engineering or chemical technology. The honour is reserved for the top 1% of the profession.

While most honourees are from the world of academia, Andrew earned his distinction through his many years of work at Bantrel as a former Manager of Engineering, Chief Process Engineer and our current Manager of Projects. Andrew is also a past president of the Canadian Society of Chemical Engineering, where he led the focus on increasing industrial participation with the Society.

The award was presented to Andrew at the Eighth World Congress of Chemical Engineering in Montreal this summer.
