Bantrel is pleased to announce it diverted almost 60 metric tonnes of material from local landfills in 2007 while benefiting needy organizations across the globe.
Following a major office move in September 2007 in Calgary, Bantrel donated 11 floors full of office furniture, cubicles and office supplies to Green Solutions North America. Green Solutions is a company that helps furnish and supply schools in developing countries and hundreds of charitable organizations across Canada.
Bantrel's furnishings helped build two libraries with its shelving systems: one in a small village in Mexico and the other in Africa, as well as helping various charitable organizations across Canada.
"I really believe that this was the right thing to do" says Chad, a Bantrel Office Services Specialist who championed the project. "Not only does it reduce Bantrel's environmental footprint, but we helped change lives for the better. Nothing is better than that."
