The new face of the EHRA.

Bantrel’s Ernie Vindevoghel is the new president of the Engineering Human Resources Association (EHRA) of Canada.

As president, Ernie will oversee discussions on major industry challenges. “Attraction and retention of staff is always the key issue,” says Bantrel’s senior human resources manager. “Today that translates to a much greater need in integrating staff that come from many countries and cultures.”

The ERHA also provides members with access to its annual Canada-wide salary survey, which Ernie says is critical to Bantrel. “This ensures Bantrel has a true industry picture of salary pressures.”

Ernie has represented Bantrel on the association for four years. He has been regional director, vice president and now president.

Ernie is originally a mechanical engineer who progressed to corporate engineering management before he shifted to human resources. He has worked in the engineering field for 40 years and has been in HR for the last eight.
