Bantrel Featured in National Publication

Bantrel is featured in the June edition of Canadian Chemical News (ACCN), a magazine that reaches over 6,500 chemical professionals in Canada and around the world.

ACCN’s article tracks Bantrel’s involvement in the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference, starting with the initiation of the annual Bantrel Forum on Design in Chemical Engineering during the 2005 conference. Bantrel’s two forum events to date have raised a number of interesting and controversial ideas in the areas of design education and engineering design research. The Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference is an annual conference and is the primary forum for the Canadian Chemical Engineering community to meet and share their latest research. The 2007 conference is taking place in Edmonton from October 28 to 31. Bantrel will again host its forum and Blair Dunlop will be giving a keynote address.

Each year the conference is attended by more than 1,000 people, many of whom are the brightest and best undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering students Canada has to offer. Bantrel’s presence ensures that these students are familiar with Bantrel’s reputation for innovation, leadership and success.
