At the annual United Way of the Alberta Capital Region Awards of Distinction Banquet on February 15, the Bantrel Edmonton office was presented with the prestigious Chairman's Quantum Leap Award. This award recognizes the organization that demonstrates above average spirit and commitment, a significant improvement in both donations and participation, as well as follows the United Way 10 Best Practises.

Bantrel had stiff competition in this category, winning out against such top notch contenders as AECON Industries, Capital Health, GE Capital, National Oil Well and Purolator Courier.

Tracy Quesnell and Cara Yu were also nominated for Employee Chairpersons of the Year (in the private sector category). The nomination is a great endorsement of their hard work.

It is at this time that we wish to extend our many thanks to Employee Campaign Chairperson Tracy Quesnell, Co-Chair Cara Yu and the Social Club for all their hard work, great ideas and never-ending enthusiasm. Their leadership made Edmonton’s 2006 campaign the most successful one to date.
