Petroleum refining is an industrial process where crude oil is processed and refined into more useful petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas. Bantrel has extensive experience executing petroleum-based projects of different magnitudes throughout Canada and the northern tier of the United States. Petroleum refining and upgrading projects are at the core of Bantrel's business acumen.
Over the past five years, Bantrel has executed hundreds of projects at over 40 different refining facilities throughout North America. Most of these projects have been revamps to upgrade to a heavier crude feedstock, to expand processing capacity or to debottleneck existing units. Bantrel's process engineering team is second to none in Canada, with more than 250 engineers among our three offices.
