Clean Technology

Gasification, a clean technology, is the conversion of any carbonaceous fuel to a gaseous product
with a useable heating value. This process is used in many industries for many reasons,
but its application in the energy sector is Bantrel's forte.

Clean Technology

GasificationIGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) projects are becoming more popular and may be able to provide a large share of the future world energy needs in an economical, reliable, and environmentally-friendly way.

IGCC technology offers a clean, efficient option for producing electricity from coal and other low-cost fuels. As well as producing electricity, gasification technologies can co-produce (also known as poly-generation) steam, hydrogen, and other products such as ammonia and methanol.

Gasification offers superior performance in power generation, as well as an innate ability to provide a means of CO2 capture with only minor additional cost.

The production of fuel products from bio-matter is a growing industry in North America, and Bantrel’s knowledge and experience, not to mention our use of the world’s most sophisticated management systems, tools and work processes makes us stand out from the crowd.
