Continual improvement is deeply embedded in Bantrel corporate culture,
making Six Sigma a natural fit for our employees.

Continual Improvement

Bantrel adopted Six Sigma in 2005 with the backing of Bechtel. Six Sigma is a methodology that uses facts and data to drive better decision making. The ultimate goal is dramatic improvement in business leadership, work process quality, predictability of performance and bottom-line results. Through Six Sigma initiatives, Bantrel has realized significant process improvements and financial gains for our customers. Currently, Bantrel has 20 process improvement projects in implementation. Since 2005, these initiatives have generated over $50 million in savings.

Bantrel uses Six Sigma to target process performance improvement in three main areas:

  1. Improving customer satisfaction
  2. Reducing work process cycle time
  3. Reducing errors, defects and waste.

By employing Six Sigma strategies, Bantrel has:

  • Improved the cycle time and reduced errors in our engineering document production processes
  • Improved efficiency and productivity within our construction processes
  • Addressed specific client concerns with positive and measurable results

Our success in incorporating Six Sigma philosophies within every aspect of our business processes has ensured that Six Sigma has become "the way we work."
