The Alberta Petro-Chemical Safety Council recognized Bantrel for outstanding excellence in health, safety and environmental management.
The Longest Duration Safety Award – Alberta Petro-Chemical Safety Council
The Alberta Petro-Chemical Safety Council recognized Bantrel for achieving the longest work interval with out a lost-time injury (LTI). Bantrel celebrated over 34 million hours LTI free from August 1991 to December 2006.
Safety Implementation & Performance Improvement Award – The Construction Owners Association of Alberta
The Construction Owners Association of Alberta awarded Bantrel Constructors Co. (BCC) for safety excellence on the Petro-Canada Edmonton Diesel Desulphurization project in 2005. Bantrel’s efforts resulted in more than 5 million hours in the field without a Lost Time Injury (LTI), and over 1 million hours without a Recordable Incident twice during the project.
